Club of the Month – The Classic Corvette Club

Our first accolade of the year goes to the Classic Corvette Club UK (CCCUK). An enthusiastic and friendly club, we have been working with the team for over five years and currently sit on their insurance panel, offering members a discount of up to 25% off their insurance premium.

The CCCUK is the only national club catering for fans and owners of the Corvette and is run at a national level by a committee of elected volunteers. The team has built up considerable knowledge of all aspects of the marques’ ownership which is available to members. The Club welcomes everyone and any year of Corvette, whether it be original, restored, customised or awaiting restoration. You also don’t need to be an owner to become a member and many people have simply joined to learn about Corvettes prior to acquisition.

The Club is dedicated to improving the knowledge and status of Corvettes, plus having some fun along the way. A year’s membership is only £40 and includes spouses or partners and benefits include:

  • Meeting like minded people who share in your love for the Corvette
  • Whether you're concerned about an odd noise or conducting a body-off restoration, we have technical experts and members who can offer the benefit of their many years' experience covering all years and models.
  • Reduced insurance premiums – including up to 25% from Lancaster Insurance
  • Discounted parts and spares from suppliers in the UK and the USA.
  • In normal times, there are regional meetings with like-minded enthusiasts, arranged via a network of local CCCUK Representatives and you can also benefit from reduced admission fee to the "CCCUK Nationals" –a  annual two day show featuring masses of Corvettes in one place.
  • Vette News – a high quality full colour bi-monthly magazine which is full of interesting tips, stories, event reports and Corvette-related information.

Rich Rogers from the Club comments: “The Classic Corvette Club UK (CCCUK) was formed in 1979 when two Corvette owners wanted to exhibit their cars but the show organisers only allowed car clubs to exhibit. Thus, the CCCUK was formed. The Club has 1,000 members and exists to further the interest in Corvette in the UK and to offer assistance. Help on sourcing a Corvette, advice on mechanical issues, locating parts and general banter and chat are available to all via the Club Website Forums and Facebook Group. Anyone wanting the join the CCCUK is invited to take a look at www.corvetteclub.org.uk where more information is available.”
