NHS Volunteers
We’re receiving lots of questions at the moment from our customers asking if they need additional insurance if they sign up as a NHS volunteer.
We’re delighted that the NHS have signed up over half a million volunteers in the fight against coronavirus and we’re pleased to confirm that, if you wish to become a NHS volunteer using a vehicle insured with Lancaster (whether this is for delivering food, medicine or transporting patients to routine medical appointments) we will extend cover at no additional cost. You do not need to call us to let us know you are volunteering, cover will be extended automatically.
