This is an affordable event, priced at just £10 for adults with under 15s free of charge.

Retro Show 21 June, Santa Pod Raceway in Bedfordshire

Santa Pod is a dragstrip first and foremost, but it also hosts many themed events throughout the year.

One of these is the Retro Show, an action-packed day giving retro car and motorbike owners the chance to take their beloved vehicles on the track (bear in mind you may need to check your classic car insurance covers this).

The event also features drag demos, ‘show & shine,’ club stands, vehicles for sale paddock, evening entertainment, fun fair rides and much more.

It’s only right that this event takes place on the weekend of Independence Day!

If you’ve a penchant for American vehicles, this is the show for you. The impressive line-up includes over 2,000 vehicles from across the pond, from Mustangs to Cadillacs, Corvettes to American motorhomes, custom hot rods to pimped pick-ups.

Lancaster Insurance Classic & Supercars Show19 July, Sherborne Castle in Dorset

More than 2,000 classics, supercars, race, rally, American, hot rod and custom cars will descend on the grounds of Sherborne Castle for this charity event, now in its 17th year.

This is a family-friendly show, with children’s amusements, a large catering village, beautiful picnic areas and plenty of live music to enjoy. Dogs on leads are welcome, too.

The War and Peace Revival 28 July – 1 August, The Hop Farm in Kent

A unique and immersive five-day event, the War and Peace Revival is your chance to get up close to thousand of military vehicles – tanks, artillery, cars, Jeeps, bikes, motorbikes and much more.

Bear witness to a fantastically choreographed, action-packed battle reenactment, before perusing the Vintage Village or getting a taste of British civilian life during World War Two in the Home Front Area.

We strongly recommend staying on-site to enjoy nightly music from across generations – stay Friday or Saturday evening and you can purchase tickets for a dine and dance spectacular in the vintage Victory Marquee.
