In the strange times we find ourselves in, we completely understand that people will have their own views on events taking place, like the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show with Discovery. We have had feedback from some to say they’ll be giving it a miss this year but also lots of encouragement from the classic car community saying the show should go ahead. Whatever decision you make, it will be the right one for you.
As we approach show time, the theme #WheelMeetAgain has never been more pertinent. The team at Clarion are working tirelessly to allow those that want to come together, to come together and to get their classic car fix before the year is out. A number of safety measures have already been communicated to reassure visitors and exhibitors alike and these include staggered entry times, temperature checks on entering, and hand sanitation stations.
We fully respect the decision of people who don’t want to attend and we look forward to seeing them next year. However, for those of you who are keen to make your annual pilgrimage to the NEC, we can assure you that the Clarion team are following strict protocols and doing everything they can to put on a great show. It may look and feel a little different, as you would expect, but providing a safe environment will be their priority.
