Classics World Roadtrip

This week, we’re thrilled to be joining Classics World on their roadtrip to celebrate the 30th anniversary of four incredible cars; Mk1 Mazda MX-5, Land Rover Discovery, Rover 200 and Citroen XM.
Our Car Club Manager, Dave Youngs, and Senior Marketing Executive, Hayley Spicer, will be taking an incredible trip in our ‘Win a Car’ Mazda across the whole length of the A30, starting from the outskirts of London and finishing at the picturesque setting of Penzance.
Here we hear a little more on the day:
“It was an early start for the trip as we gathered at Heathrow at 6am for the first photo session of the day (see pics below).
We then embarked on the A30, stopping for the obligatory bacon roll at Transport Café!, and on to our next location to get shots of the four cars in front of the rising sun!
We stopped off at a few more locations throughout the day to get more photos and audio for the upcoming feature in Classic Car Buyer which we can’t wait to see!
However, the day was slightly longer than planned due to an unknown road closure cropping up!
This resulted in a little diversion down single track roads surrounded by high verges – but hey, isn’t it the little surprises like these that makes a road trip so special!”
