The Lancaster Insurance Classic American Stars and Stripes

Lancaster Insurance Stars and Stripes stand

Last weekend (6th & 7th July), the Lancaster Insurance team made their way to Tatton Park as we were honoured to headline sponsor of the Lancaster Insurance Classic American Stars and Stripes.

We arrived bright and early to set up our stand and right from the start, it was clear it was going to be a fun filled weekend for all.

As well as over 1,500 classic and modern American vehicles, the event also housed over 250 trade stands which showcased a range of car related products as well as many general interest/American themed stands too.

Yet again the show setting was outstanding with the gorgeous weather making it the perfect place to hold the UK’s premier event for all things American!

In amongst the variety of vehicles there were Hot Rods, Corvettes, Mustangs and of course the huge Fins ‘n’ Chrome car from the 50s&60s. The famous ‘Wall of Death’ was a popular attraction too, demonstrating an exhilarating performance of high speed bikes being ridden to the top of a 20ft high vertical wall. The ‘Wild West Shoot Out’ also gathered huge crowds and it was marvellous to see the children interacting and getting involved too.

With live music and a wide variety of entertainment, it meant the weekend was non-stop fun for all generations and an experience never to be forgotten!

Overall it was a fantastic weekend getting to know new and existing customers, and their dogs, and another show that we’re immensely proud to sponsor!
