Lancaster Insurance sponsored driver, Alex Cursely, wins Downforce UK award

Lancaster Insurance is thrilled to announce that Alex Cursley has won ‘Club Racer of the Year’ at the annual DownForce UK awards. Presented at the Autosport International Show at the NEC, Alex was presented the trophy by Editor-In-Chief Jake Sanson.
Now in its third year, the awards celebrate both competitors and championships in the motorsport industry. The shortlist is decided by a panel of experts with the winner being voted for by the public. Alex’s category saw him beat off competition from five other nominees to take the coveted award.
Alex Cursely, comments: “What a year it’s been, I’m absolutely ecstatic to be taking home this award, on top of winning the Hyundai Coupe Cup 2017 season! I’d like to thank everyone who has voted and supported me, including my sponsor, Lancaster Insurance - I’m excited to see what this year brings.”
