Club of the month: BMW Car Club of Great Britain

In the year that sees two BMW anniversaries, 50 years of the 2002 and the E3 "New Six" saloon, our February club of the month goes to ‘BMW Car Club of Great Britain’.
The club was founded in November 1952 and ty the late 70s ‘Regions’ were formed across geographic areas of Great Britain, each with its own elected Committee to look after the interests of members in those areas, and organise events.
Today, the club has over 4,000 members and has 23 Regions across the UK including the Republic of Ireland, making it the largest single BMW Car Club in Europe. In addition, the Club has a number of ‘Registers’ which cater for particular models, such as the '02, Coupes, E3, E30, 7 Series, and Z models. It also has a strong 'M' Power section, and an active Historic section for all pre-1956 cars.
The Club provides products, services and events which enhance the enjoyment, value and experience all BMW owners and enthusiasts get from their cars. As well as receiving a quality monthly Club magazine, Straight Six, members can enjoy a wide selection of Club benefits and activities including;
