The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery, is all set for another gigantic ‘season finale’ of the classic scene at Birmingham’s NEC from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 November.

The UK’s biggest and best celebration of the classic motoring community will see 2,500 stunning classic cars and motorbikes on display across five halls, each filled with rare marques, motoring legends and some hidden treasures.

Over 250 of the UK’s most loved car and motorbike clubs bringing their own fantastic displays to this year’s show.

Club highlights include new displays from De Dion Bouton Club UK, Viva Drivers Club and Outlaw Anglias to name just a few.

There will also be some not to be missed cars such as the 1971 prototype Princess 1800VP – the only one ever made and never seen at the show before – on the Vanden Plas Owners Club stand.

The Lada & FSO Owners’ Club UK will be displaying the last-ever Caro hatchback in addition to a rather different form of Riva saloon.

The show’s Family Ties theme will be adopted throughout the show by clubs and exhibitors with Motor Sport Magazine bringing together a special display.

The magazine’s stand will feature the Williams F1 cars FW08 and FW30 driven by Keke and Nico Rosberg respectively, the father and son team who have both been crowned World Champions in their careers.

Elsewhere in the show will be the unmissable Meguiar’s Club Showcase with 16 finalists from various club events battling it out to be revealed as the best of the best by their expert judges.

Whilst in Hall 3, the Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership display will see 20 private owners showcasing their classics in a bid to win visitors’ votes and the coveted trophy.

Wheeler Dealers’ Mike Brewer and his new co-host Ant Anstead will be on the Discovery Live Stage all weekend with a jam-packed timetable of entertainment, special guests, car parades and a restoration challenge.

On Saturday evening Mike and Ant will also host an exclusive premiere of the new season of Wheeler Dealers.

The show will also see the climax of Lancaster Insurance’s #ClassicRumble, with Mike Brewer’s 1989 Ford Escort XR3i Cabriolet and Ant Anstead’s 1950s inspired Grand Prix Racer being auctioned, through Silverstone Auctions on Saturday 11 November.

Mike’s sale will benefit Marie Crawford Boyd Foundation while Ant’s sale will contribute to Harrison’s Fund, two hugely worthwhile causes.

Visitors will be able to see the finished cars on the Silverstone Auction stand in Hall 2.

Motoring experts will be in the Restoration Theatre ready to show visitors exactly how to tackle all aspects of restoring a cherished classic car in Hall 4, where they can also find parts, spares and motoring services from the 650 stands in the Trader Village and popular Autojumble.

For those looking to buy a classic or add to their motoring collection, Silverstone Auctions are set to have yet another record breaking sale with an impressive line-up in it’s two-day sale of classic cars, motorbikes and memorabilia.

Don’t want to stand and watch? Why not take a drive in a classic car with HERO Events or a passenger ride in one of the cars in the Sporting Bear’s Dream Rides garage.

Both are available throughout the show for a small fee.
