Record crowds turn out at Old Warden Aerodrome in Bedfordshire for the 6th Classic Rally & Autojumble, held on 2nd April.
Stephen Smith, Events Director for organisers Gemini Events said: “We have seen the show grow in popularity since its inception in 2012. It has grown from a small gathering of 140 vehicles to a record turnout of over 600 vehicles this year.”
In the Concours competition, Judges on site selected winning vehicles from individual entries and club stand, with Best in Show going to Mr Michael Dearing, from Bourne, Lincolnshire, and his 1947 Dodge Pick-Up WD22.
The winner of the Pride of Ownership was Patrick Timmins, from Luton, with his 1951 Singer Roadster.
Visitors were also treated to some great flying displays from the Old Warden Model Aeroplane Club as well as some unexpected flying from some historic aircraft from the Shuttleworth Collection in the ideal flying conditions.
The Decibel Duel continues to delight the crowds particularly some of the younger children in attendance and a great selection of trade stalls and Autojumble meant that bargains could be had for those working on a project.
