Lancaster Insurance sponsors annual charity event ‘Classic & Supercars Sherborne Castle’  

Lancaster Insurance is thrilled to be extending its event sponsorship portfolio by announcing its headline sponsorship of the ‘Lancaster Insurance Classic & Supercars’ - Sherborne Castle. Taking place at this famous Dorset Castle, the annual event will be held over two days (15^th/16^th July) for the first time due to demand and will once again be raising money for a range of national and local charities including Cancer Research UK.

The event, in its 14^th year, is regarded as one of the premier classic and supercar shows in the South of England with 2,000 cars exhibited last year from veterans to the latest supercars. This year's Marque Feature will be Mercedes -Benz, a comprehensive display of historic and classic cars will be presented. There will be auctions across both days from Charterhouse Auctioneers and performances from 1930s girl group Hotsie Totsies throughout the weekend, so there’s something for everyone. 

Richard Morley, Divisional Head at Lancaster Insurance, comments: “When we were asked to be involved with this event, it seemed a perfect fit for us and a great one to add to our existing sponsorship. The event showcases a great variety of models and marques and with this year’s new elements, is truly interactive for the enthusiast. Knowing the event makes an incredible amount for charity, tops it off.”
