Lancaster Insurance supports annual charity Ford run

Over the weekend of the 20th - 21st August, classic Fords will be out in full force for the annual ‘North Wales Classic Fords Snowdonia Run’. In its seventh year, the event, organised by the North Wales Classic Fords Club and supported by Lancaster Insurance, will drive the 100 mile route taking in breath-taking views throughout.
This year’s run is expecting to attract 100 classic rear wheel drive Fords, including mk1 and mk2 Escorts, Cortinas, Capris and even a classic Mustang! The run will also be raising money for ‘Hope House Children’s Hospice’ which is near Oswestry. To date, the club has raised an incredible sum, collecting over £31,000 in the past six years alone, helping children and their families in their time of need. The club is looking to build on the amount this year, with Lancaster Insurance also donating to the cause.
Lancaster Insurance Operations Director, Richard Morley, said: “It’s great to be supporting an event which involves such a range of iconic and much loved Fords. Driving the famous Snowdon Run in convoy will be fantastic for all involved and the fact it’s all for a good cause makes it particularly special!”
