Lancaster Insurance search for classic car ‘superstars’

Cambridge based classic car insurance intermediary and ‘Best Company’, Lancaster Insurance is searching for ‘superstars’ to join a brand new apprenticeship programme, with a real difference. The insurance specialist, known for ‘putting the fun into insurance’, is looking for ten passionate and enthusiastic people, who are exploring an alternative to university and eager to make their first foray into the world of work.

Starting on 5th September 2016, the ‘Sales and Customer Service’ apprentices will be on a year-long scheme with a difference, each gaining up to six certificates, compared to the normal three. They will be working towards a total of four qualifications including an NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service and have a mixture of ‘on the job’ training, receiving valuable work experience, and theory based learning. A dedicated assessor will also be on hand to guide them through the process.

Richard Morley, Operations Director at Lancaster Insurance comments: “We’re thrilled to be searching for and nurturing the local talent of the future! We have a dedicated team who will be working closely with each apprentice to help them reach their full potential and as a ‘Best Company’, we have a great deal to offer new recruits.”

Part of Markerstudy Group of Companies, a ‘Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies To Work For’ for the fourth year running and accredited with a Gold Standard from Investors in People, Lancaster Insurance has over 100 staff based at the thriving office in St Ives, Cambridge. The Group recently celebrated its 15th anniversary with a festival for staff and their families at Bewl Water with entertainment from Craig David and The Kaiser Chiefs.
